Meditation is a method of observing the habits of mind.  It is a way to remember oneself. It involves a more active engagement in all aspects of one’s life – by paying attention, by watching, sensing, and listening, and by heeding the heart.

Meditation can be a formal, structured discipline or a more informal attitude about how to live a conscious life. Click on: The Four Paths

Meditation training can help people with depression learn to detach from dysfunctional thoughts and negative rumination to allow a new way of being and relating in the world.
