Self-Inquiry is the practice of asking questions and reflecting on matters related to self, motivation, and meaning. Joni Mitchell once said: Depression is the sand that creates the pearl. Use the following questions to consider the many different ways one can bring vibrancy or purpose into one's life. What do I appreciate about myself? How do I use solitude? What ways do I express love and caring for others? What ways are others most likely to express love and caring for me? Am I effective? Do my thoughts and intentions result in clear actions? What engages me intellectually? What inspires me to take risks, try new things, be creative? What would give my life greater harmony and balance? Do I pursue my dreams? Does my life have a direction that is meaningful to me? |
